OPERATING PRINCIPLE OF THE CHILLER

The chiller cools water through a closed-loop circulation system. Chilled water is delivered to the area that needs cooling (such as production lines or indoor factory spaces), where it absorbs heat and becomes warmer. The heated water then returns to the chiller to be cooled down again, continuing the cooling cycle.

There are two main types of chillers:

• Water-cooled chiller: The condenser is cooled by water from a cooling tower.

• Air-cooled chiller: The condenser is cooled by fans blowing air directly over heat exchange coils to release heat from the refrigerant.
